I created a website for the Dakshina Kannada Philatelic and Numismatic Association (DKPNA). DKPNA web site has been evaluated as TOP 5% again among 71 entries in the 2001 FIP Philatelic Web Site Evaluation at HAFNIA - 01 on 21 October 2001. Last year DKPNA got the TOP 5% at ESPANA - 2000. This site is no longer updated. Something I would like to do after my retirement.

I am interested in ancient astronomy and I have used routines developed in Matlab to compute the Aryabhata Ayanamsa. Ayanamsa is the Sanskrit term for many systems used in Hindu astrology to account for the precession of equinoxes. I have a journal article on "Aryabhata’s Kaliyuga Revisited: an Optimisation Problem"
